We just had to post this – it was too hard to resist.
I am 22, a 4th year medical student in Nigeria – Goodness Adeosun.
I combine both Medical school and entrepreneurship (shoe making) – my crazy hobby.
I know how tough it is, studying a course that entails you reading a lot and 100% attendance in the class and also clinical rotation.
yeah, a lot of times I wanted to quit and focus on business knowing fully well it’s profitable and what I earn is still higher than what I will earn when I become a doctor in Nigeria(I don’t pray to practice here in Nigeria it’s not favorable. Lol😂)
You know what keeps me moving?
My Brand would not have gotten this far without being a medical student…
Everyone jaw drops when they get to know that I juggle between medical school and business(shoe making)
I don’t think it’s ok to drop out.
You can do both if I can honestly in Nigeria where the educational system isn’t so much favorable but I am surviving it.
At the end of the day and also in the course of the journey, your MBBS will create more avenues for you and also comes with a lot of respect compared to your colleagues in the business field, because it’s not easy.
It’s only a Champ that can survive it.
On Sunday I got this international recognition, this was enough to motivate me to keep on!
